Dance your Ph.D.: un’iniziativa per avvicinare tutti alla scienza che consiste nel realizzare un video in cui si spiega l’ambito della propria ricerca con una coreografia. Idea carina, in effetti non è mai semplice spiegare in poche parole quello che si sta facendo ai non addetti ai lavori (e io in particolare mi sento proprio negata!).
Il contest per il 2011 è purtroppo già chiuso, chissà se ci sarà anche l’anno prossimo e se sarà aperto anche agli ingegneri, sarebbe anche il momento giusto per me per partecipare (incrociamo le dita!).

Dance your Ph.D.: a method to approach science in a different way which consists in making a video to explain the aim of your research by dancing. Nice idea, it is not easy to explain in a few words what you’re doing (I’ve always been bad in the elevator pitch).
The contest for 2011 is already closed, maybe they will organize it next year too and maybe it will be open for engineers too, it would be the right moment for me (fingers crossed!)
